Draperies
Drapery panels used alone are incredibly popular because of their simplicity. Panels used without top treatments provide a vertical line that enhances the height of a room. Small amounts of elegant silk or embroidered fabric will give the illusion of much more fabric when used as stationary drapery panels framing a window. Custom looks can be achieved with novelty pleat styles such as bottle pleats, butterfly pleats, and euro-pleats. Addition of tassel trim, banding or attached valances really add to the “WOW” factor, especially when combined with custom finished hardware. Custom fabrication includes the wise use of interlining and good quality lining to protect the panels and prevent light from penetrating the fabric and distorting the colors.
